ARCx21^SM is a web-based application hosted by ACH Commerce that enables companies to capture images of paper checks utilizing a Mag-Tek imaging device. The Mag-Tek device is capable of scanning approximately 350 checks per hour.

Prior to capture, checks are sorted into two stacks, placing all consumer checks in once stack and all corporate checks, money orders and cashiers checks in a second stack. The ARC option is selected from the menu and scanning begins with the first stack of checks. Once completed, the Check21 option is then selected from the menu and scanning of the second stack of checks begin. ARC21x1^SM also offers an Image Only option for companies who want to continue to deposit paper checks but want to image and store them electronically.

ARC21x1^SM also supports imaging of coupons and keying of payment information that enables a company to link an electronic copy of the coupon with the check and export data for final posting into their A/R system. Validation products and/ or swap table capabilities can be used to reduce administrative returns as well.
